A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Ensure the safe, efficient and productive co-ordination of all resources
- Act as a role model and mentor for excellent service management and service delivery
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation
- Manage multiple areas, competing priorities
- Liaising with Waikato DHB
- Oversee staffing requirements for all inpatient areas
- Supporting charge nurses with HR related matters
- Complaints management
- Liaise with specialists
TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Hold a current New Zealand APC
- Have significant experience in a surgical environment (i.e. a Nurse Manager with 3-5 years experience in a surgical setting) and/or as a Patient Services Manager
- Be a calm, excellent communicator with a strong leadership style and sense of fun
- Have proven expert clinical leadership skills, with the ability to support and coach managers
- Have experience in Human Resources and managing staff
- Ideally have a relevant Masters or post graduate qualification
- Be looking for the next level in your career managing multiple areas
