Registered Nurse

We are seeking a full time permanent Registered Nurse to join our Nursing team.  If you have experience with stroke or spinal clients that would be of benefit to us, or if you have general rehabilitation experience or want to get into this field we would like to hear from you.

You will contribute to the inter-disciplinary team and be an integral part of the rehabilitation process for the clients. 

We want passionate nurses who thrive on providing high quality healthcare services for our clients. You must be able to provide good clinical assessments, high standard of documentation, be confident and able to run shifts independently and allocate work tasks to staff as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and family relationships are essential.

For almost 50 years Laura Fergusson Rehabilitation has provided services to people who have had a stroke, neurological diseases, traumatic brain injury, amputation or orthopaedic injuries. We have an excellent reputation in rehabilitation, with a progressive approach to the future.

What we'd like from you: 

• NZ registration with minimum 2 years nursing experience
• The ability to  triage emergency situations and provide emergency nursing care
• The ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions
• Ability to support an inter-disciplinary team to ensure great outcomes for our clients
• Good command of English - both written and verbal
• Experience with medical database or other similar stand alone system
• A full New Zealand Drivers Licence 
• Able to work legally in NZ
