Our 36 room facility offers a home-like environment, with large rooms, leisure areas and providing high quality support and care to people with complex needs.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team and work in partnership with residents to maintain their independence and quality of life. We currently have a vacancy for a permanent part-time Registered Nurse working patterned rostered shifts, mostly on weekends and some weekdays for 56 hours per fortnight.
Essential Requirements:
- An experienced Registered Nurse with a current NZ practising certificate.
- A commitment to our values of hospitality, compassion, respect, justice and excellence
- Confidence in working with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Communication skills – with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people.
- Experience nursing within the Disability sector would definitely be an advantage.
- Commitment to on-going development and training.
- Have the right to work in New Zealand and have two New Zealand work related references.
