Hillview is an aged care facility based in Te Kuiti who is passionate about providing quality care in a community environment. To that end, we are preparing to embrace the “Eden Philosophy for elderly care. With approximately 52 residents, we pride ourselves on providing interesting and varied activities in our well-resourced facility.
We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager who has the ability to deliver quality and excellence in care. As a senior leadership team member, you will play a fundamental role in building on our impressive reputation through your positive leadership style and great delivery of services to those in your care. Some experience or knowledge of Eden Care philosophy would be an advantage but not necessary because we are all looking to learn together.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be someone who relishes a challenge, enjoys working with the elderly and has a good understanding of the New Zealand Healthcare system. With exceptional people skills, you will have a focus on quality improvement, providing careful clinical oversight and ensuring all of the clinical team will deliver the highest possible standards of care across the facility within current clinical policies and procedures.
You will possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and staff, residents and families alike will recognise you as a capable and motivational leader. You will actively lead and provide professional development to your team by being a hands on manager and be able to build strong and lasting relationships with residents, their families, your team members and the wider clinical support network.
