Location: Wairau Hospital, Blenheim
Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) is seeking a General Physician to join the Department of Medicine providing medical services to the population of approximately 145,000 across the Nelson Marlborough region. As this is a district wide appointment, based in Blenheim, there may be the requirement to provide services at Nelson Hospital, on occasions.
This fixed-term position will be covering sabbatical and accrued leave for the period of 1 October 2018 to 28 February 2019.
The successful applicant will support and complement our existing Medical Team providing acute general inpatient medicine, on a rostered basis, and outpatient services - largely in the area of their subspecialty. Experience in acute general medicine is required, with all subspecialties considered.
You will require FRACP, or equivalent, be eligible for vocational registration in New Zealand and hold a current annual practising certificate.
