The Job
This is no ordinary nursing job. We are looking for a registered nurse to join an established nursing team who provide 24/7 medical care. This is a unique opportunity to live and work in Wanaka, which is one of NZ’s most beautiful towns. This is an interesting and varied role providing support for one client with brain and spinal injuries. The job involves a combination of day shifts, night shifts (sleepovers) and the occasional trip away (within NZ or AUS) and comes with competitive rates of pay.
The client suffers from spinal and brain injuries which means he has limited mobility. He uses a wheelchair and walking frame to mobilise.
Skills & Experience Required:

NZ registered nurse with at least 2 years post grad experience and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

High level of assessment skills.

Be able to work autonomously.

A reasonable level of fitness required.

Computer literate (knowledge in using the editing programme IMOVIE a bonus).

Full and clean driving license.

Current passport.
