About the Role
- To provide co-ordinated supportive care for cancer patients and families
- Provide information, support and nursing care
- Working face-to-face, on the phone or by email with patients and families
Duties
- Cover your own territory visiting patients in their own homes
- Ensure a high standard of care is delivered to all patients
- Work with patients and their families and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records
Skills & Experience
- You must be an experienced NZ Registered Nurse with current APC
- Previous experience in a community setting with a full, clean driving licence
- Experience with palliative, oncology or haematology useful but not essential
- Clear and effective communication is absolutely essential
