Our District Health Board is large enough to provide variety and depth of work experience, with good support and supervision, yet small enough to be a friendly team with good social interaction.
We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician for a fixed-term, 12-month part-time contract, working 32 hours per week in the Hawke's Bay Hospital Pharmacy Department.
Ideally you'll have significant past experience as a pharmacy technician, however, less-experienced candidates may be considered and are encouraged to apply.
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing technician support to the pharmacy service, including but not limited to: Ordering and receipting of medicines, dispensing medicines to hospital inpatients, and maintaining medicine supply to ward imprests
- Implementation and testing of new pharmacy dispensing software
