Permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunity for a Registered Nurse based in our Takapuna Endoscopy Unit

We currently have a permanent vacancy (0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week) for an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse, based in our Takapuna unit. Due to the nature of our service, there is also a requirement for the successful candidate to be flexible to be rostered at our Epsom Endoscopy Unit, as and when required. Therefore having a drivers licence and access to a private vehicle is essential.
The rostered shifts are between 07:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work some Saturdays, as required.
Every day as a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy Units, you will work with our highly experienced team to assist with Endoscopy procedures working within both theatre and recovery environments. A variety of diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures are conducted including Gastroscopies, Colonoscopies, Bronchoscopies and ERCP procedures. You will require a broad range of technical and clinical skills.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is flexible, proactive, has a 'can do' attitude with excellent communication skills. Teamwork is extremely important to us, as is the ability to work autonomously when required.
If you have a minimum of three years' experience in nursing within a surgical specialty, current NZ Nursing Registration and previous Endoscopy experience we would like to hear from you!
