We Challenge, Motivate, Rehabilitate

We're looking for a receptionist/administrator extraordinaire for our Wanganui Regional Centre. This is a sole charge position in a Healthcare environment.

You will be responsible for professionally managing our reception, while providing administration support to the Service Leader, the Supported Living Service Coordinator, and the Auckland-based Business Services team. This is a busy, diverse role and your contribution will be needed to achieve the team's goals. You'll need a confident 'can-do attitude' and have initiative. Key duties will include managing incoming calls and messages, face to face contact with customers, updating spreadsheets, preparing reports, document scanning and filing, purchasing, cash handling, transporting clients to and from appointments and other support tasks for clients as needed.  Discretion and confidentiality is a requirement and able to work within professional boundaries with our clients.

What we'd like from you:

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist essential
  • Cash handling experience required
  • A courteous and friendly telephone manner
  • Expertise in Word and Excel to an intermediate level
  • Sound computer skills and the ability to learn standalone software packages
  • Good interpersonal and relationship skills
  • An ability to meet deadlines
  • An ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks
  • Prepared to work in an open and flexible environment
  • Self-starter who is positive, energetic and prepared to do that bit extra for our clients
  • New Zealand Drivers Licence is necessary
  • Must be in New Zealand and able to work legally in New Zealand
