Tech company opportunity for nurse with Emergency Department experience

Emergency Q is an award winning NZ designed software system by Healthcare Applications Ltd that reduces overcrowding in hospital emergency departments by safely redirecting non-emergency patients to primary care (sinuses, earache, colds, sprains, etc).

Since May 2017, we have been shrinking total ED patient volumes at North Shore Hospital by 12% allowing busy nurses and doctors to focus on patients with higher levels of need.

We are about to begin the process of delivering our system to other hospitals starting with Middlemore.  To help us in the next phase of our journey, we are looking for a nurse with emergency department experience who - like us - is attracted to trying new ways of doing things to solve old problems.

Don’t worry if you are not an “IT guru” – we have others to take care of that.  What we are looking for is someone with a can-do, let’s make it happen attitude, who enjoys training and working alongside others.

The role is part time averaging 20 hours a week.  A competitive hourly rate is available for the right person. We look forward to meeting you!
