Senior Administrator
Manurewa Medical is a busy mid-sized General Practice, providing quality healthcare to the people of South Auckland. Located in the bustling Manurewa shopping area, we pride ourselves on being an energetic, professional and caring team.
We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Administrator to join our team.
The Senior Administrator will work with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure we provide quality healthcare in a timely manner to our patients.
This role will involve a wide variety of administrative duties, such as payroll, database management, updating patient records, managing rosters, accounts payable/receivable, compliance and more. The role also includes regular hours working on our frontline reception desk.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years admin experience in a healthcare environment.
This position is for approximately 35 hours per week. The start and finish times for this position will be rostered between 7.30am to 6.15pm weekdays and will also include a shared roster for Saturday mornings between 8.15am to 12.45pm. Applicants MUST be able to work during these times.
You will preferably have the following qualities, although full training will be provided to the successful candidate:
- A passion for Healthcare, systems and processes
- At least 3 years working in Healthcare Administration
- Experience with troubleshooting I.T. issues
- Experience with rostering clinical and admin staff, and processing payrolls
- Intermediate level Word/Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- The ability to identify opportunities for optimising efficiencies within a clinical setting
- The flexibility to adapt a busy workload to meet the demands of the day
- The right to legally work in NZ
