These are fixed-term roles for seven (7) months.
The Fiordland Recreation/Historic team are inviting applications for the 2018/2019 summer season. If you enjoy working in the outdoors, meeting new people and don't mind getting your feet wet then apply now.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- An understanding and appreciation of conservation values in New Zealand and an ability to communicate these to a wide range of people
- Experience in snow conditions
- That ‘willing to go the extra mile', ‘can do' attitude
- The practical know-how to make something out of nothing
- Backcountry tramping experience
- A good knowledge of Fiordland and the Southland/Otago Region
- A team player attitude who works well under pressure
- A current First Aid Certificate and valid Driver's License
This position works to a roster system and applicants must be available to complete the full period of employment from 8 October 2018 to 2 May 2019.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
