Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) makes sure New Zealand has accurate information about where people and places are, that people have confidence in their property rights and Crown property is well managed for future generations.
As Principal Audit Advisor, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager and be part of the Risk & Assurance (RAA) Team. RAA delivers risk management and internal audit services to LINZ. You will be working either independently or leading other members of the team to add value and improve LINZ operations. This position is key in ensuring LINZ continually improves its control environment and assists the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executives to achieve their outcomes.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum 5 years' experience within internal audit related role, this is desirable
- Proven experience in leading and delivering on internal audit engagements with sound understanding of audit, internal control and risk management principles
- Diverse experience in operational, regulatory, projects, IT and compliance auditing in government sector would be beneficial
- The ability to communicate with different audiences at all levels of the organisation
- Expert report writing skills
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CIA or CISA
