Council is looking to expand its consents team due to increased business requirements. An opportunity for succession planning is available for the right candidate.
In this fulltime role you will apply your skills in the core function of resource consent processing. Your knowledge and experience will also be utilised for effective and accurate advice on all aspects of the District Plan and Resource Management Act 1991. Professional accountability, internal and external liaison with a strong customer focus is essential, as is the need for a great sense of humour!
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have experience commensurate with a senior practitioner within the Resource Management field
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Show a strong understanding of key legislation
• Convey a focus on enabling outcomes for our internal and external customers
• And have the personality to fit into a small but high performing team
