About the role
Are you a Certified Plumber and/ or Drainlayer finding being on the tools too physically demanding? Are you ready to take the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Plumber, and Drainlayer to join our team in a tutoring role at Wintec in Hamilton on our Plumbing Pre-Trade and Apprenticeship programmes. If you want to share your industry knowledge and skills with tomorrow's trades' people then we would like to hear from you.
A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying Tutor at Wintec in Hamilton. If you have a passion for the Plumbing Industry, excellent communication skills and are confident in presenting and teaching technical subjects then we would like to hear from you.
Are you an ideal candidate? You'll:
- have up to date registration with the NZ Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (essential)
- have a recognised National Certificate in Plumbing and/ or Drainlaying (Level 4) qualification
- have a strong working knowledge right across the Plumbing and Drainlaying industry including knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements
- love sharing your Industry knowledge and experience to motivate people in a multicultural environment (you have been involved in training apprentices)
- be an enthusiastic team player - collaborative, constructive and supportive of other team members and team results
- have a high level of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
