Are you interested in championing initiatives aimed at delivering environmental outcomes for the Canterbury Region?
If so, this an exciting opportunity to join the Delivery Support Team to play a key role in championing the Farm Environment Plan (FEP) and Auditing programme and other related delivery initiatives.
As a Senior Environmental Initiatives Advisor, you will:

Support the development, management and delivery of FEP and FEP Audit programmes and other/related compliance monitoring, enforcement and biodiversity delivery initiatives which contribute to the achievement of Council’s strategic environmental outcomes.

Analyse complex data, issues and risks to inform the on-going maturity and robustness of and support the development of Regional and Zone work programmes.

Actively collaborate with internal staff, our partners, stakeholders, government agencies and iwi, to promote innovative organisational delivery solutions that support the achievement of regional and national objectives.
We are looking for somebody that is action driven and through their great communication skills can build effective, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrate initiative, analytical abilities and project management competency, to achieve identified environmental outcomes.
