Cleaners make our hospital a place where sick people can get better safely, families can visit in comfort, and staff can do great work in a hygienic environment. From wards and operating theatres to public areas and offices, you will clean following a standard methodology to ensure we achieve approved cleaning standards. If there’s an urgent need for cleaning in a different part of the building, you’ll be ready and trained to use specialist cleaning equipment.

Ideally, you will have professional cleaning experience, however, we will provide on the job training
Shifts available are:
Full time Monday to Friday 0.600 to 14.30 - Floor Care
or
Part time Thursday to Friday 15.30.00 to 00.30
Cleaners at our hospital organise their day to complete regular tasks – but because we are a busy hospital, you’ll need to respond flexibly to changes. If there’s an urgent need for cleaning in a different part of the building, you’ll be ready and trained to use specialist cleaning equipment.

Support will be given to successful applicants to complete Level 3 NZQA Qualifications and progress your career
