Day Shift Engineer
12 hour shifts
Monday – Thursday
6.00am– 6.00pm
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring equipment uptime by quick in-depth trouble shooting and repair of all equipment failures. Works directly with machine operators and shift supervisor to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift.
Detailed Description
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/ hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment at facility as required.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Maintain industrial control system.
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
- Create and report repairs at end of shift. Complete required paperwork, document parts and material usage.
Work Experience
- Preferred:
- 3-5 years – Years of experience in field
Competencies
- Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in organization
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, Monday – Thursday, 6.00am – 6.00pm
- Blow moulding & previous beverage experience
- Knowledge of Krones, SMI packaging & JMP Robots.
