We are now looking for a Structural Engineer to join the team and enjoy our brand new office location in Silverdale!

Your day to day responsibilities will be:

• Managing, liaising and responding to clients’ needs and requests in a timely manner.
• Obtaining job briefs directly from clients and architects.
• Communicate and provide feedback across a range of stakeholders, ensuring quality control measures are met.
• Working in an autonomous role and also be able to guide younger graduate engineers as required.
• Using computers with an understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) technology and structural analysis software, such as Microstran and Etabs.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• A relevant Bachelor of Engineering University Degree or similar qualification.
• 3-5 years Structural Design experience in New Zealand local NZ codes and standards.
• Experience with commercial and residential design, quality control and construction supervision.
• Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.

You will enjoy working with clients, contractors, architects and regulators both in and out of the office, have strong planning and organizational skills and be able to fit into a small, friendly team environment. No two days will be the same and you will be exposed to a wide variety of projects on a regular basis.
