Detail information about job Train Maintenance Technician. Terms and conditions vacancy

Who is CAF New Zealand?

We built Auckland's new electric trains and now we're here to maintain and service them. These trains were designed just for Auckland and consist of state of the art technology.

Maintaining Auckland's trains takes a range of skills, from mechanical to electrical. If the idea of working on these high-tech machines sparks an interest and you have a background in maintenance of heavy machinery with strong computer skills then keep reading because you could be the person we're looking for.

As a Maintenance Technician each day will be different. Your main role will be to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on all of the trains' systems (mechanical, electrical and electronic). We'll provide you with all of the tools and training needed to perform the wide variety of tasks needed to keep Auckland's trains running smoothly.

Our competitive remuneration package includes laundered uniforms, medical insurance, frequent training opportunities and long service leave for all employees. As we operate 24/7 we need you to be flexible to work shifts and we'll reward you with additional remuneration for nights, weekends and any over-time worked on top of your base salary.

Safety and quality are our top priorities. We have an experienced onsite Health and Safety Manager and an active Health and Safety Committee.
