We are working with a well renowned New Zealand company in the FMCG Industry seeking an electrical supervisor for their Finegand Plant
The growth in the manufacturing and processing sector means this exciting opportunity for the successful candidate will offer career progression and further training opportunities.
This role is full time (40+ hours) working the day shift, based in Finegand, Balclutha.
Role responsibilities may include:
- Effective management of a team providing training and support where needed
- Preventative maintenance and root cause analysis
- Best practice health and safety in accordance with policy and procedure
- Diagnosis and fault finding
- Equipment installation and commissioning
The successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Have trade qualifications and/or extensive experience in electrical and/or maintenance engineering
- Industry experience involving engineering practices and policies
- Extensive knowledge of legal and legislative compliance conditions and issues
- Ability to understand and apply basic management accounting principles
- A team player able to work across a broad range of teams
- Meat industry experience
