What would I be doing?   
A newly created position, you will be a pivotal member of the product development team designing, testing, deploying and maintaining our climbing robot solution. This is a broad role taking in Hardware and Firmware development.
  
You can expect to get involved in work which involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, and difficult coordination requirements. Electronics design including research, concept development, detailed design and validation testing will form your day to day duties, alongside prototype manufacturing, assembly and testing.
  
As a key player within a close knit team, you will enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge with the wider team, and proactively drive and implement best practice electronic engineering techniques.
  
What do I need?
We’re looking for someone who is passionate, engaged, and able to really champion best practice engineering within an electromechanical environment. You will bring with at least 7 years in electronics engineering design, experience with ARM 7 microprocessors and a tertiary level Engineer degree, ideally BEng.
  
A track record of building strong relationships and working across borders and languages, good communication skills (especially in a technical environment) and a ‘Can do’ attitude with a good sense of humour are essential.
