We require a competent and motivated Senior Structural Design Engineer for our Auckland Office. The position has a varied role including the preparation of preliminary, developed and detailed designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects, project administration / on-site investigation / technical development etc. The candidate should enjoy working on an extensive range of projects; enjoy the challenges of utilising new technologies and problem solving involved in producing the latest technical designs. The engineer will have a great opportunity to across all main construction materials and design techniques.
We are looking for a technically oriented Structural Design Engineer with sound knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate requires:
- BE Hons specialised in structure.
- Working towards or have CPEng status.
- Proven seismic experience to NZ codes.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Modelling experience with ETABs and Microstran
- The desire to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication.
- Good time-management.
- Driven by team success.
