Civil Design Engineer

This well-respected Engineering Consultancy are specialists within the Civil Engineering sector delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects nationally.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join their growing Wellington office. They have a large amount of new work across their infrastructure business, they require a Civil 12D Designer / Civil Engineer to take a key role supporting the engineering team delivering a wide range of national project work.

The infrastructure project work will include water resources, transport and landfill projects as well as the design of civil infrastructure associated with commercial construction and other major geotechnical and environmental projects. You will work within an experienced team to provide design detail using 12D model for earthworks, drainage, water supply, roading, temporary works, erosion and sediment control solutions.

You will need to have civil design experience at intermediate to senior level, NZ consulting experience, codes and standards are essential. To be successful you will hold a relevant Engineering qualification and be proficient using Microsoft Office packages and have exposure to 12D or Civil 3D design packages. Experience with CAD and other modelling software packages would be advantageous.
