Reporting to the Site Manager, you must have the ability to contribute and engage within a highly demanding environment. You will part of the team who ensure that the plant and its operation run smoothly within minimal downtime.
This role requires someone who can undertake a proactive role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspections, with the ability to anticipate delays; minimise downtime; and create solutions. You will often have to think outside the square so your ability to handle distractions from major projects to adhoc requests will not phase you.

- Planned preventative maintenance
- Carry out risk assessments / on-site inspections.
- Organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work autonomously
- In accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance
- Health and Safety situational awareness; operate all types of equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.
- Having previously worked within a maintenance environment and a background in Engineering (lathe / welding) would be advantageous however relevant training / apprenticeship opportunities will be considered for the successful applicant
- As important, someone who is improvement driven with progression in mind
- Reside in New Zealand
