Bloxam Burnett & Olliver (BBO) is an employee owned consulting firm of Engineers, Planners and Surveyors based in Hamilton with 80 staff. We're involved in a diverse range of projects including highways and bridges, land development, wind farms, and municipal infrastructure. We are big enough to offer sizeable and interesting projects, but small enough to be responsive and personal.
We're on the look out for an experienced Civil Engineer with strength in three waters engineering to play a key role in the delivery of our infrastructure and land development projects.
The Challenge:
- Carry out investigations and options studies, and provide advice to clients on their infrastructure requirements. This includes water impact assessments, stormwater assessments and integrated catchment management plans, wastewater assessments and roading assessments.
- Carry out or oversee design for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure.
- Provide technical input to resource consent applications and processes
- Take on a co-ordination role to prepare development applications and ensure a seamless service is delivered across engineering, surveying and planning.
- Build relationships with clients and regulatory authorities, and deliver excellent service.
Your Skills:
- Degree qualified in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Prior experience in land development engineering with a focus on three waters and excellent knowledge in stormwater management.
- Ideally have a background in Consulting Engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong report writing and presentation skills.
