To meet this growth, we have an opportunity available for a talented and dedicated employee to join our Engineering Software Team.

Scope of Role:
To test and validate new and existing products from a software functionality point of view.
To plan, develop, execute and document the test program.
 As Test Engineer Software you are involved in every stage of software development.   You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers/programmers is fit for purpose.  Software testing involves the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues.
Ultimately testers are employed to find bugs and issues within product before it gets deployed to everyday users.  You will need to be, or become, familiar with programming and sign coding languages.  Assessing code is one part of the role as a software tester.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Software test – to test and validate software for Enatel products, taking into account:
  Product functionality and reliability as set out with scope
  Ease of use of the product by the customer
  Software legacy, ability to update product in the field
•  Develop and execute script testing for software in development, allowing fast and repeated test runs
•  Support the Software Team during the scoping and development phase for projects
•  Document Control.  Ensuring software in development is under control
•  Manual writing.  Support manual writing process with input
•  The Test Engineer is a member of the Research and Development Team.  As a member of this team, you are expected to take an interest and give significant input (design for test, customer use) into projects in development
•  Collaboration with test team, arranging software testing to suit and support product testing (hardware, environmental, validation)
