This company is an innovative market leader that continues to build on its success, year by year, lead by an experienced team of civil contracting professionals.
With further growth throughout the North Island region and major civil projects underway, there is a vacancy to join this already successful team as a contracts manager. This challenging role requires someone who will ensure financial and operational commitments are exceeded for the project and ensure that delivery increases turnover and profitability as well as someone that is comfortable and competent in working on detailed and large projects and looking to make their mark in this company and in the region.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- People leadership
- Contractual issues on the project
- Tender preparation
- Reviewing all incoming contractual correspondence from consultants, client, and project managers
- Identifying, evaluating and submitting all potential variations/claims
- Tender preparation
- Ensuring main contract payments are prepared and received on time
- Addressing contractual matters with client/consultants/ subcontractors/suppliers and negotiating variations, claims, EOT and mitigating any contractual disputes
- Preparation of the project suite of subcontracts and supplier contracts
