Our client is seeking the services of two Contracts Administrator / QS / Civil Engineer to support the commercial team on a major construction and infrastructure development project. You will be assisting the Commercial Manager and Project Managers with contracts and supporting documentation for a $1 billion development, covering construction of new buildings and civil infrastructure associated with a major transportation hub.
In this role you will be providing contractual support around contract preparation and administration, document control and project reporting for a key stage in this development. You will have a strong knowledge of the construction industry, and ideally have worked on significant construction/infrastructure projects previously as either a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Administrator. Exposure to civil infrastructure such as roading and utilities will be a massive bonus.
We are looking for:
- 3-5 years’ experience in construction industry as QS, PM or contracts assistant
- Strong documentation and organisation skills
- Exposure to contracts, procurement processes and documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to pick up new programs/systems easily
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage others
- Relevant tertiary qualification
