The Company
Blakely Construction Ltd is an established Christchurch based Civil Construction business.
We have operated in and around Canterbury for over 25 years and have in excess of 100 staff.
At Blakely, we have extensive capability and resources targeting land development, earthworks, drainage, roading and general civil works. We own a large fleet of plant, trucks, construction equipment and excavators ranging from 1.5 to 40 tonnes.
To join Blakely’s in this senior role you will have a background in the Civil Construction industry with sound estimating and tendering skills.
You will spend 80% of your time in the Civil Construction with Blakelys and 20% of your time with maintenance at Sicon. You will quickly add value to both companies with your estimating and tender preparation expertise and experience. You will work closely with our senior management Teams.
A relevant tertiary education and knowledge of New Zealand standards is essential plus personal attributes in terms of:
• Significant experience on similar works
• First class relationship management and communication skills
Key to this role will be your personal commitment to achieve exceptional outcomes in service delivery, working well within our Blakely Construction Team environment while displaying a positive attitude.
