New opportunities have arisen to join a commercial main contractor in Christchurch
These established and reputable organisations have recently gone from strength to strength and currently looking to grow further in capacity for Commercial Project Delivery.
We are now seeking a capable Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor for commercial construction projects to join these teams.
You will need to have a range of both commercial cost management experience and possibly even estimating knowledge on commercial construction projects.
Project types could include light medium and large commercial projects that you will be involved with at all stages of the projects from scope and pricing phase through to full construction. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate commercial new build experience from project inception through project delivery and financial completion.
You will be working closely with senior staff where you will be able to take your current skill base to the next level. You will be technically sound and have a history of working on and completing a variety of commercial projects.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from retail, hotels, to education facilities, and commercial office projects to name a few.
To be considered for this role you'll require the following attributes:
- Knowledge of the New Zealand main contracting commercial sector
- Experience in detailed measurements, costing and pricing, contract administrations and client communications
- Ability to negotiate at all levels both internally and externally
Tertiary qualified with proven experience in the commercial sector, ideally with a main contractor
