About the role:
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Supervisor with experience in the water industry and house connections to join our Water Division. You will be responsible for supervising your own crews and subcontractors to ensure assigned work within the area conforms to safety, quality and time requirements and stays within planned milestones and budget. Keeping in contact with our valued clients about the status of their projects will also be a key part of this role.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong relationship building/customer service skills (key skill)
- 6 years of experience managing new water connections projects (Water Mains and House Connections)
- Strong planning and organising skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills (comfortable running 5 – 6 crews at once)
- Experience with both direct and subcontract labour
- Demonstrated experience in overall supervision on major civil projects
- Demonstrated experience in delivering health, safety, quality and environmental objectives
- Good IT skills (ideal)
