Senior Project Manager.
A leading commercial build main contractor who value their employees, a reputable brand is now looking for a leader, with integrity, a top Senior Project Manager with extensive project management experience, particularly across hotel and apartment high rise projects.This is is a multi storey project that is largely enclosed and has fitout underway.
As a Senior Project Manager you can form effective relationships with project team members, sub contractors and other consultants. You will be proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues and providing feedback. You will be ensuring projects costs are measured, monitored and agreed. There will also be a strong emphasis on OSH and compliance.
Key success factors for this role require:
- A tertiary qualification in construction management, or strong NZ trade background.
- 5 + years’ experience in managing $30m to $80m construction projects, particularly high rise construction.
- Ability to lead and performance manage construction teams to achieve agreed outcomes.a
- Extensive knowledge of the local construction market and relevant commercial construction legislation
- Solid programming skills
- Strong financial management with ability to drive cost accountability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication.
