The Job
You will be a key member in a crew of 3 to 4, working on a variety of maintenance projects around the Hutt. Your days will entail kerb and channel, footpaths, carriageway maintenance and emergency repairs; no day will be the same! Your experience operating a wide range of equipment from excavators to plate compactors, along with assisting to run a crew, will be essential in this position.
The Candidate
Your experience operating a wide range of equipment from excavators to plate compactors, along with assisting to run a crew, will be essential in this position.
The successful candidate will also have:
- Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements essential
- Experience working in a maintenance position
- Understanding of common asphalt and concrete mixes, along with their uses
- Demonstrated experience at organising resources
- A “Do it right, do it once” attitude towards work
- Experience with concrete placing and asphalt hand laying would be beneficial
