We are looking for a Project Manager, coming from a joinery background, with extensive experience to join our client in the delivery of high-spec projects across Auckland. A skilled professional with excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and commitment to the company is the ideal candidate. The salary is in the region of $80-90k, depending on experience.

The company is well established, has a strong history and reputation and a great management team - they have a long track record of successfully delivering complex projects across the Auckland region. They need someone to aid the senior management team with tasks from workload allocation to quality control, priding themselves on the delivery of perfection, efficiency and reliability to their clients.

The candidate worth considering for the role will have the following:

• 5+ years demonstrable experience of working in a joinery (hands-on) or joinery management position
• Experience of co-ordinating all trades on-site
• Strong personality – must be direct, confident, diplomatic and pragmatic
• Able to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the engineering and building teams.
• Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved.
• You will need to be up to date with your knowledge of OHS guidelines so as to ensure the safety of all on site
• You will ideally have a Joinery-related qualification and/or come from a Joinery background.
