The company has been in the New Zealand market for over 20 years. They are a solid player in the commercial sector nationally working across a broad range of sectors, from industrial, commercial, to educational, medical/healthcare and more… Due to sustained growth they have a requirement for an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis to be initially based on a new build commercial project in Otago.
Your new role
As Site Manager you must have extensive knowledge of being part of the operational management team on large-scale projects, working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on the overall running of the site. The expectancy will be to have excellent contractual knowledge, ordering materials and supervising subcontractors. You will be involved with the design and build of the project and be required to make changes, when needed, to drawings and plans.
What you'll need to succeed
- This role will suit someone who has a trade background and has built their career up through years in the trade, with heavy exposure on commercial projects
- Experience delivering commercial project from $5M is a non negotiable!
- Communication style - lead by example, having a solutions focus is key!
