The role is with a well-established, tier 1 construction company, who operate across New Zealand. They are seeking a Site Manager in Wellington for a highly valued design and build project. This company has a large pipeline of work for 2018-20 so are looking to expand their exceptional team.

The Firm
 
This role is with a high-end, well-respected design and build contractor based in Wellington. This is a company you will be proud to work for as they have constructed many of Wellington's most prestigious high-rise residences and landmarks. Highly environmentally focused, this is an organization that is locking down business for the future and is looking for committed individuals to get on board and enjoy the success. 
 
The Role
 
This role will see you taking complete responsibility for major sites, so you will still need to be at the top of your game. You're going to be exposed to builds such as boutique hotels, residential high-rise, commercial high-rise, public sector builds and industrial works as well. You'll work closely with a Senior Project Manager and will have subcontractors reporting to you. 
 
This role requires:
 
• Capacity to lead and manage subcontractors
• Knowledge of construction programming 
• The ability to drive and achieve deadlines 
• A strong commitment to site health and safety guidelines
• Working knowledge of initial structures right through to finishes
• At least 5 years site management experience in NZ
