An iconic New Zealand award winning manufacturer and supplier of complex, hi-tech engineering equipment into major construction environments both nationally and internationally, seeks to appoint a Project Planner to proactively work with the Projects and Sales Departments in the provision of time schedules and planning to suit their deliverables by supporting them in the preparation, adjustment, tracking and updating of project schedules and project planning.
Other responsibilities include developing new scheduling tools, educating other departments on the importance of planning and adhering to the schedule as well as providing secondary assistance to the tendering department on tenders and proposals.
Dual reporting to sales and projects departments , based in Auckland, applicants must also demonstrate:
- A proven track record in scheduling and planning
- The ability to think strategically with the ability to ensure proposed solutions and plans are consistent with the business
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with clear spoken English
- The development of new scheduling tools and systems
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
