About the Role

We currently have a great opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team. You will have the opportunity to make your mark by applying your accounts and efficient administration capabilities.

We are looking for someone who is engaging and energetic, efficient with attention to detail, and a team player who is self-motivating and shows initiative.  The role reports to our Senior Manager, Finance and based in Mount Wellington, Auckland.

The key responsibilities and experience we are looking for are:

  • Accounts Payable
    • Processing and payment of all weekly, monthly and inter-company suppliers
    • Perform Inter-Company Account Reconciliations at month-ends
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Assist with processing customer invoices, including Rental and Service
  • Credit Control
    • Attend to customer account queries, including rental billing queries, invoice requests, and general customer account support
  • Finance Tasks
    • Assist with Bank Reconciliation
    • Assist with month-end closing
    • Prepare management reports as directed
    • Aid with completion of various Tax returns, under supervision from Finance Manager
    • Assist with the preparation of Statutory Accounts, under supervision from Finance
    • Manager
    • Assist with other accounts functions
  • Other Duties
  • Assist the Finance team with documenting Finance processes for Arjo Quality System
  • Help Finance Team with SAP implementation

Experience required:

  • Sound understanding and working of ERP systems.
  • Prior SAP knowledge
  • Strong knowledge in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Processes.
  • Effective communications within all working relationships.
  • Excellent people skills required with an ability to develop rapport, demonstrate patience and maintain a level head in periods of stressful situations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks without supervision.
  • Able to meet deadlines without prompting or reminder.
  • Time management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a diversity of people, ranging from staff to customers.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows operating system and MS Office applications.
