We have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work with a large commercial construction client of ours in Christchurch.
The role is to provide efficient and effective financial quantity surveying services in all technical and contractual activities for project in order to control expenditure optimise revenue and achieve or better project margin targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately estimate and prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations
- Prepare tenders, offers of service and contract documentation
- Support the project management team with costing advice
- Manage the procurement of subcontract and supplier packages
- Preparation of monthly financial contract review process
- Have solid relationships with all stakeholders
- Practices positive leadership
We are wanting someone who has the experience and qualifications, knowledge of contractual obligations and construction materials, customer focused and someone who has the ability to plan, monitor and control cost.
