As the Project Director you will represent the client, to ensure the delivery of a large, highly iconic construction project within Wellington.

As the Project Director for our client you will lead an established team and engage with numerous stakeholders from the design phase to final account. You will use your personable character, exceptional communication and time management skills to manage client relationships and work with other consultants and contractors to ensure the timely and successful delivery of a client driven project.

This opportunity is a senior role – you therefore must have both the desire and the ability to take ownership and accept full responsibility for clients needs and the projects unique challenges. You will be a confident team player, whilst also being self-motivated. Of equal importance is your ability to combine personal proficiency with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders successfully and in a timely manner. You will be assertive and analytical in your approach and be a clear communicator.

In order to be successful in this role you will be comfortable overseeing construction projects upwards in value from $20 million and have a proven track record within the local market doing so. In return our client is offering $80 - $100 per hour for 12 months, depending on your experience, technical aptitude and fit with the existing culture.
