THE ROLE

Due to continual growth and several upcoming projects confirmed and in the construction pipeline, our client is looking to appoint a Construction Manager to take control of the project deliveries across the business.  

Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll be leading a team of project staff and providing expert input into the overall strategic running of quality, on-time and on budget projects.

Our client is well respected here in Auckland and has a reputation for delivering a wide range of commercial projects on time and on a budget. The business enjoys repeat business from a range of clients and have strong relationships with clients and consultants. 

LOCATION

Auckland based with  travel throughout the country 

IDEAL CANDIDIATE

• 10+ years in Main contractor role in construction
• 5+ years in NZ construction industry as an acting PM with experience across commercial and civil projects, strong contractual experience
• Project Manager or Snr Manager experience in commercial construction
• Ideally Tier 1 experience on projects over $50+ million
• Process Driven
• Commercially savvy
• Ability to drive schedule
• Flexibility to travel
• Ability to write solid reports
• Bachelor of Engineering or Project Management qualification
