Our client is a tier 1 industry leader that was established over a century ago, since their humble beginnings in the residential market they have become a power house in the civil and commercial markets, with a considerable pipeline of projects that are fast approaching and currently being worked on they need to bring on an experienced and hard-working Surveyor to join their team in Hamilton on a contract basis.
Day to day tasks will include but are not limited to:

• All aspects of surveying including using GPS, Total Station and other surveying instruments/ equipment.
• Producing plans including topographical, cut / fill, as-builts and plans to support claims / variations.
• Assisting site personal with general site needs, including set outs, heights and survey control.
• Assisting quantity surveyors / estimators / management with estimating, variations and payment claims.
• Ensuring survey equipment is maintained, calibrated and kept in good working order.

The right candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in surveying or an equal qualification.
• At least 5 years Surveying experience in New Zealand.
• Currently hold a valid NZ work visa.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on own accord or as part of a team.
