Our Completions and Handover team provide desktop QA services from our offices based in Onehunga. The primary function of the team is to ensure that all job artefacts for completed jobs are submitted by the relevant internal and external persons and correctly compiled in the appropriate software and databases, as-built designs completed, and complete documentation provided to the client. UCG is currently seeking a talented administrator to commence in the full time role of Completions and Handover Coordinator. 

Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Work with the MDU Operations department to ensure the regions submit correct and complete job artefacts for all completed jobs on a timely basis;
  • Follow-up incomplete jobs/documentation with regional Field Managers and/or their support administrators;
  • Act as conduit between the MDU Operations department and the Records department to facilitate production of as-built designs in accordance with the client’s requirements;
  • On a needs basis communicate with the client’s representatives regarding quality and defect issues they have raised on submitted as-built designs.
  • Compile and upload job artifacts of completed jobs where Chorus is the client in our internal database

To be successful you have:

  • High attention to detail;
  • Flexible and Customer Focused 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite
  • 2 years of previous experience in administration role 
  • Proven experience within the Fibre/ telecommunications industry
  • Quality assurance of Field design will be an advantage.
