Graeme Bagrie Contracts Ltd is a family owned and operated company with over 30 years of experience in the civil roading and earthmoving industry.
GBC Ltd operates throughout the lower North Island providing a large customer base with efficient, cost effective service.
We have projects running across the Horowhenua/Kapiti area, and with a large amount of forward work are currently looking for a Foreman/Supervisor to lead our Roading team.
Accountable to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the roading team including liaising with management, clients, and staff.
The successful candidate will have experience in civil construction all aspects of roading maintenance and construction and require:
- a history of leading a team
- an ability to read and interpret plans
- working knowledge of GPS machine control
- experience in the use of grading plant
- a class 4 license plus W, T, R endorsements
- a TC or STMS (preferable but not essential)
Initially based on 45 hours per week you will need to be prepared for after hours and weekend work during peak operational seasonal work where we are required to meet tight client focused deadlines.
