What do we need from you
The Executive Director / Fundraiser will focus on organisational growth and sustainability. The remit is to increase the contributions of individuals and groups to Dayspring Trust by building relationships and exploring new revenue opportunities from various sources.
The Executive Director will energetically, confidentially network, forge positive relationships with supporters and raise awareness of the trusts’ work, aims and goals. Essentially you will be the ambassador, on a mission to raise funds through marketing campaigns and direct income generating activities.
Your work allocation will be as follows:
· Fundraising & Marketing 65%
· Organisational Leadership 35%
The Skills we’re looking for
· Proven track record of fundraising, marketing and direct fundraising strategies
· Proven experience of organisational effectiveness and entrepreneurial operations management
· Leadership skills for strengthening teams and persuading others to follow and execute their innovative ideas.
· Ability to germinate intriguing ideas, and carry the desire to figure out how to make it work.
· Strong communication and engagement skills
· Ability to model authenticity, integrity, humility and respect
· Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices including revenue diversification
· Knowledge of and / or experience with NGO’s in the Health sector
· Tertiary degree in operations management or related field or proven "intrapreneurial" experience
