Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this newly established role is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, sales focused individual, to step up and drive the role into absolute success. This role is Fixed Term for 6 Months.

What will I be doing?

Bringing on new customers in the complex, Small Business (SB) sub-segment. This is an outbound telephone based sales position which will be located in Sale Street. You'll spend your time…

  • Selling telco products.
  • Making outbound national sales calls - a high proportion will be cold calling.
  • Sourcing, managing and maintaining target lists.
  • Gaining agreement on targeting strategy and sales approach.
  • Working closely with marketing to develop campaigns for nurturing targeted leads, and supporting these with timely phone follow-ups.
  • Providing prospects with relevant product information and offering a successful outcome.
  • Reporting on progress vs targets, campaign success and actively contributing to an improved rate of conversion.
  • Contributing to the business knowledge and understanding of this sub-segment, and recommending priorities for product and service developments.

Key skills and experience:

  • This will be a high-volume calling role, so good time management skills are a must!
  • Experience in telesales - preferably outbound, cold calling experience.
  • Able to take ownership of the role with absolute confidence.
  • An energetic, resilient and positive attitude.
  • Excellent English communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience with each phone call and email follow up.
  • Building strong rapport so long-standing relationships can be developed as a lead is nurtured over time.
  • Salesforce experience an advantage.
