A great opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join our Solar and Renewable Energy team, this role can either be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

This role will report to the Managing Director, and responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the solar/renewable energy team
• Calling on a strategic list of customers, both internal and external to grow sales
• Provide quotes and tenders to our end users
• Generate training for new installers through our accredited installer programme.

Take up the challenge and prove to us that you have a strong history of delivering sales, excellent innovation capabilities to win large tenders, ability to provide outstanding solutions and building meaningful relationships with customers under all circumstances. Managing our customer and supplier relationships is challenging, you will need to demonstrate how you can be diplomatic and achieve a great outcome.

Your renewable energy and solar knowledge would be a great advantage to accelerate your success.  The successful candidate must have proven experience selling conceptual ideas and proven management in leading a team is essential, in addition to strong sales, account management and organisational skills.  Electrical experience would be beneficial but not essential.
