Our client is a leading player in the New Zealand market and is committed to proving innovative solutions that help New Zealand businesses maximize efficiency and reduce costs, by providing full office supply solutions across all their business needs.
On their behalf, we are seeking to appoint a very experienced Business Development Manager to actively prospect for new customers in the upper mid-market to enterprise level space. We are therefore seeking a Sales professional, who can confidently engage in this space, able to prospect and open new business conversations with C-level Executives.
We are seeking someone who will invest their energy and their expertise into driving sales across the entire product suite. By offering customised product solutions to suit the specific needs of each client and by applying specialised pricing, selection, rationalisation and unique value propositions, you will aim to secure new accounts for the company to nurture and grow.
Competencies Sought:
- Proven experience identifying new business growth opportunities, with a strategic sales focus.
- Strong commercial acumen. Ability to identify where you can bring value to a business
- Ability to pitch customised solutions that support your client's strategic business objectives
- Understanding of how to analyse financial data, use contract modelling and strategic pricing tools to develop solutions deliver savings to the customer and profit for the company
- Demonstrate high level relationship management skills - ensuring proactive, resolution-oriented customer contact
- Ability to plan and manage an effective sales strategy and pipeline
- Hungry to achieve, goal and target oriented.
- 5+ years or more, experience at BDM selling to Corporate / Enterprise Account level.
- A strong closer of business
- Ability to travel Nationally
